                        AMERICAN PRIZE   !!!

FORBEARANCE is a WINNER of the 2022 AMERICAN PRIZE IN CHORAL COMPOSITION

The news came in late December 2022 that FORBEARANCE, my choral composition for SATB large chorus, birdcallers + minimal electronics, is a two-time winner in the 2022 Professional Choral Composition Division of The American Prize. 2022 was a long year, as FORBEARANCE made it through the semi-finals, then finals, to receive 2nd Place in the Social Justice-related compostion; and 3rd Place in the overall Professional Choral Composition, Short-form.
